The half-day activity, which started at around 10 o'clock in the morning, began with a short invocation prepared by the students. After a welcome message from the high school principal of Santa Cruz Mission School, an orientation about AVL/AVLDA and various inputs on Climate Change were Students were given opportunity to throw their questions regarding the environment and climate change to the speakers during the open forum. The speakers thoroughly answered the students' questions like “Is there still hope for us?”, “How can we stop the ‘kaingin' system?”, “What programs on reforestation can we avail?”, “How to minimize the ozone depleting substances?”, and “What are some ways to know if any environmental hazard due to climate change is coming?” |
